SSF ACCOYO NOEL
Alpaca , Huacaya , Bred (Female) |Proven |Light Fawn
AOA# 31676830 | DOB: 12/26/2008
Sire: EL NINO'S ACCOYO MICHELANGELO
| 31676830 | Light Fawn |
In late 2005 Dr. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy of this spectacular male, and he had a follicle density of an amazing 115 follicles/mm! (Post-calibration results were adjusted to 107 follicles/mm) His S/P ratio was an astounding 13.28/1! These are still unheard of statistics, and he PASSES THEM ON!
Michelangelo has that extremely dense fine high amplitude crimp, and an incredibly even "peach colored" fawn fleece.
His grey offspring are spectacular enough for the Blue Ribbon at the prestigious AOBA Nationals and Futurity shows and have won multiple Color Champions again! Two grey offspring took BOTH COLOR AND RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION GREY FEMALES in a recent show! No other full Accoyo can boast this rare quality! Progeny Championships in white, fawn, brown, and greys! Sired by the now deceased El Nino (one of Accoyo Caligula's best offspring. El Nino was the 2004 AOBA Get of Sire, and was the 2005 Light Futurity Herdsire of the Year!). With El Nino's recent passing, Michelangelo has become one of his most prepotent progeny! To lose such a legendary macho in his prime makes the genetics of his top offspring even more critical to a well thought out serious breeding program.
HIS CRIA CONTINUE TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS! A male offspring has won three Judge's Choice Awards this spring in three shows (including Level V!) Look at his offspring as you go thru the spring show circuits...including AOBA Nationals and Futurity!
Dam: MA ACCOYO PRINCESS
| 31676830 | White|
Princess's fleece took our breath away when we selected her in the fall of 2002 for our foundation herd. We were looking to add another full Accoyo to our herd, and she had all of the traits that we were seeking: fiber brightness and density, great bone and size, and superior conformation. Her first cria was by Royal Fawn, a full Accoyo beige female and we are keeping her in our foundation herd! In 2005, Princess had another great full Accoyo female cria, her fiber tested at 16 microns at 8 months of age and her follicle density was one of the top crias that Dr. Norman Evans had ever seen!.
Awards:
1st Place 2003 Southern Select
Service Sire: EL ACCOYO RUBIO
| 31676830 | Beige, Light Fawn |
Rubio is our top colored Accoyo stud and his offspring continue to win at the shows. As a beige/fawn he tends to throw the color of the dam having produced several blacks and greys along with every other color. What you can count on with Rubio is a super typey look with the Rubio head which won "best head" at the International Alpaca Odyssey.
Being an Accoyo, Rubio certainly produces dense, heavy fleeces, but he does so without sacrificing fineness. His dam, Marilee is a producer of fine fleece and has added this to Rubio's genetics. He has retained fineness which is the #1 goal of our breeding program. At his age, he still has the look, fineness and character to compete against 2 year olds which is what we are looking to produce through his cria.

SSF Accoyo Noel, represents one of the hottest niches in our industry, a FULL ACCOYO Fawn. Quite simply, Accoyo genetics add value! Her dam is MA Accoyo Princess, one of our herd’s foundation females. Noel shows the potential to excel in the show ring, with great “type” and an elite fawn fleece. Another Princess daughter, SSF Accoyo Drama Queen, is our #1 female and has produced amazing offspring! Noel is unrelated to 419 Accoyo Maverick and this combination (Michelangelo and Maverick) is producing some wonderful results!.
